Infrastructure Maintenance Policies

1. The College takes adequate care for proper maintenance and utilization of its physical, academic and support facilities.

2. A dedicated team of electrician, plumber, sweepers, carpenters and gardeners provide round the clock service to Departments, Hostels, Classrooms, Canteen, Laboratories and Library.

3. The Building Subcommittee ensures proper maintenance of the buildings.

4. Fire Extinguishers which are installed at important positions are frequently checked and refilled after the expiry.

5. Whenever required, computers and peripherals are checked, cleaned, calibrated and maintained by the technical assistants hired from outside.

6. The Laboratory Assistants take care of the Laboratories and equipment of the Science Departments.

7. In Post Graduate Departments, there are Casual Staff who keep the Classrooms and Office clean and well maintained.

8. Each Department has a Stock Register containing the equipment provided to them and this register is carefully maintained.

9. While purchasing an equipment, it is always ensured that the installation charges and maintenance charges are provided by the Company which delivers the equipment. Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is opted for most of the services and equipment. The AMC facility includes maintenance of Generator, AC Machines, CCTV Cameras. Water Purifiers, Software etc.

10. Every year pest control is conducted in the Library keep the books, journals and records safe.

11. The campus of the College is well protected by surveillance Cameras.

12. For the maintenance of Computers, one dedicated private organization offers service.
